Hold down the shift key and drag your mouse to the canvas in order to
create rounded rectangle within a width and height about 2 inches. You
need to go to the layer that is in the main menu and select duplicate
layer before click ok to the default settings. You choose move tool that
is in the tools palette before moving the duplicated shape so that you
could see clearly for both rounded square and repeat this step two
times. Go to layer palette and select each layer to move the individual
square.
Hold down the shift key and select four shape layers in the layers
palette so all are highlighted. Click the link button that is at the
bottom of layers palette. Click top edges and go back to layer and
choose align and then click top edges. Go back to layer and choose
distribute before select horizontal centers.
You will need to go back to the layers palette and then click eye icon
that is next to background layer. It will remove the white background.
Then, go back to layer in the main menu before click merge visible. Go
to the layers palette and click background layer to restore the
visibility. Select single shape layer and then go to layer in the main
menu before select duplicate layer. Choose move tool and move the new
layer that is below the original square. Choose type tool and select the
color and size as you want before type the abbreviated name of the week
beneath the name of each month. Click file and save if you want to save
and make sure you are remember the location where you save your yearly calendar template.
